The last week of school is finally here! The last day is next Tuesday, but it’s only a half day and exams are over this week so we are pretending we’re done for now.
Since Ryan’s birthday is in July and he’ll be back in the U.S., we did a mini, early birthday for him on Saturday at Laser Tag.
After laser tag, the girls and I went to the mall and the boys headed back to our house for a video game marathon. Both kids had sleepovers and wore themselves out.
Sunday, we headed to Wiesbaden to meet our friends, Ray and Susan, who just moved to Germany two weeks ago.
We walked around Wiesbaden city center and then had lunch at Sommerfest, in downtown Weisbaden. The city is really pretty and has a huge pedestrian zone in the center with lots of shops and restaurants, so we are definitely going to have to make some trips back. It was so good catching up with our friends and seeing some familiar, Maryland faces in Germany.
We ended the weekend, back in Stuttgart, with pizza at the Biergarten by our house with some friends and an early bedtime. Tuesday is finally the last day of school and we are headed to Austria next weekend!
