We have just returned from almost three weeks back in Maryland! The time flew by and it felt like we were just a busy as we are on a one or two week visit.
While we were home, we got to visit with many friends and family, catch up on doctors’ appointments, celebrate Fathers’ Day, Alli’s birthday, Ryan’s upcoming birthday and Matt’s graduation, and even made it to Kings’ Dominion for a day.
Because we were going to be gone so long, we brought Slinky and Daisy along with us. While they have previously been “good fliers,” they proved us wrong this time and barked and whined the entire nine hour flights, in both directions. I’m really not sure what set them off this time but we’ll be reconsidering bringing them along next time. It was great to have them with us during the trip though and not have to worry about them in the kennel. They especially enjoyed spending time with my parents.
We had the best time and it was harder than ever to say goodbye. Can’t wait til we can all get back again.
